The Department of Planning and Infrastructure (DPI) in conjunction with the Darwin City Council (DCC) and Municipality of Litchfield is conducting a strategic review of the cycle path network in the Greater Darwin area.
The objectives of this review are to:
- Undertake an audit of the existing cycle path networks controlled by DPI and the Councils;
- Map the network using GIS;
- Identify maintenance and capital works requirements; and
- Plan further development of the cycle path network.
Please Note: Footpaths are not included in this study.
Community Workshops
Residents were encouraged to attend a series of workshops to provide any comments and recommendations for consideration in this review. A summary of the investigations undertaken and feedback received to date will be provided.
